Working to “improve the quality of Detroit-area youth-serving organizations” so these spaces can maximize impact and advocate for accessible high-quality opportunities.

The Task: Partner in rebranding during a strategic revisioning of their mission and method.

Role: Client-interfacing design direction and implementation

The Solution: Bring their mission and vision to life through the branding process by carefully considering how prioritized actions interact to fulfill the organization’s strategic vision. We then put that to the test in creating organization collateral and event material.

The Approach: Rebranding was part of the new strategic plan. We broke down their previous brand to figure out what were the strong themes that needed to be carried through and uplifted, and then put those aspects to work in their new creative material.

Work with Detroit’s Youth Development Resource Center was done as part of the EarlyWork’s team. As their lead designer, we worked hand-in-hand to consider how a brand refresh could best visually represent a new strategic plan.
